Best Authentic Sri Lankan foods in London. Friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend the chicken Kottu, deviled chicken dish, chicken fried rice and egg hoppers. Simply amazing😍😍 We will come again more often for sure.
This is a great place to have some traditional Sri Lankan food. I really loved the milk hoppers and traditional Kothu Roti. The customer service was fantastic. We celebrated our mums birthday and the staff were very accommodating.
Amazing food and service from Colombo, if you go, you must have a hopper, they are delicious!
The pork curry I had was very tasty and with plenty of chilli kick (almost too hot for me!) My partner had the cancun cocktail also and it comes in a really cool glass. Order it to find out!
We will definitely be back ASAP.
Thanks team.
Great spot for a late lunch or dinner. We got the lychee rose, and chilli ginger mojito to drink - both were amazing and so unique in their flavours. The paneer tacos to start were so delicious, and the chicken lamprais and briyani held up to their great reviews. Very filling but perfect portion sizes, the only thing we weren't a fan of was the boiled then fried egg. The bill came to about £75 which was steeper than we had anticipated, also - the optional gratuity was automatically included in the overall price which was misleading, but besides that everything was great. We'd definitely be back to visit and try more off the menu.
Great gluten free options, didn’t feel left out as so many choices and delicious food!
Great, friendly service and yummy drinks too.
The atmosphere is best. Tried lamprice, polrotti, hoppers, Kottu and some drinks. In term of taste, 3.5/5 because not original taste of Sri lanka.
If you have moved from SL recently then this can’t be your place. Price is okay. Portions are but small for the price.
You can try this restaurant for the ambiance.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Colombo Kitchen with my family and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. We were greeted by the friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
The food was simply amazing! Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We started with the mutton kothu, mutton curry, fresh crab rice, prawn curry, fried calamari each dish was unique and packed with a variety of spices that tantalized our taste
The staff was brilliant and provided exceptional service throughout our meal. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and always had a smile on their faces. We truly felt like we were being taken care of.
Overall, I highly recommend Colombo Kitchen to anyone looking for a truly authentic dining experience. The food, staff, and ambiance all exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to visit again!
Friendly staff, the food, however, was ok, not bad, but I was expecting a bit more authentic touch.the food is nice and fresh, but it's quite adapted to the English pallet. I'm aware that I'm quite spoiled as I have lived in Sri Lanka for more than 3 years. Costs for a meal are more central London oriented and the potions aren't that big.
